ALPINE mrp-m1000 Gain Setting Problem

Ok I tried puting the sub level at 15, and with the volume 80 % up and the gain at max i can still only get 600watss out of it 42V at 3 Ohms. Now if I turn the LPF up from the lowest 50HZ to say 80HZ the Voltage jumps up to the 60's.

turn off the LPF & set em in full range

is it still getting too hot? not sure about that. and when you set the lpf at 50 and use a 60hz tone you are blocking a part of that 60hz tone limiting the amps output if that helps clear that up
