Alpine MRD-M1005

Can people post any of thier REAL LIFE experiences w/ the Alpine MRD-M1005. I heard from many people that it was an excellent amp, but there is this one person in these forums that seems to disagree with everyone... maybe he has a poorly made box or electrical issues...

Is this amp putting out 1000WRMS @ 2 0hm @ 14.4v or no? Is this amp efficient? will it power 2 500W rms subs without problems?

I have it on order now, ordered it last night, so wont ship till monday,so I do have time to cancel if I get lots of negative reviews.

that would be me i have a 275 amp alt i have no electrical issues, and i have one of the best boxes for the type-r, it does not put out rated power period.

Impedence Rise

its wired to 1ohm so impedence rise takes it to ~2ohm, i run one for comp 2 for daily.

What amp did you go with, and was it a good trade off? I ordered on Friday night, and I can cancel before shipping, so I can cancel monday morning and get something else...
