Alpine MRD-M1001 flashing "current"

so i was running 2 JL audio 12w3v2's at 4ohm amp and everything was fine. recently i found a HO wedge box for these subs so i put the box in and made my connections. I used to be able to turn the volume up to whatever i wanted and it would run fine. When i put the box in once i put the volume to 19 for more that 3 seconds my amp will shut off and flash "current". i did it again and watched my capacitor but it never dropped below 13 volts at any point. but i have a volt gauge on my a-pillar and i watched that and it dipped well below 11 volts while the car was running. would doing the big 3 fix this? i'm not sure but here is my setup,

Alpine CDA-9856

Alpine MRD-M1001

Stinger 1 farad cap

2 JL Audio 12w3v2's in a HO box

Stinger 4 Gauge wire

like i said i haven't had a problem before i put the new box in so any help would be appreciated

so without cap it goes to 11? if not, take it out and see.
also, do big 3, but below 11 is bad.
correct when the cap was in it would drop below 13 and would still shut off. so i watched the volt gauge would drop below 11 with the cap in when the bass would hit hard. but if i am cruising on the highway and listening to it that loud it won't shut off. and the big 3 is going in this summer when i get back from school and back to all my tools
