i have a 9815 and im currently disapointed with it's load time... it's always 2-3 secs and on M.I.X it can be over 5 secs inbetween tracks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

i heard 9813 for example loads much faster, is it true? if you have an alpine please post your mp3 load time

i found a way to make my 9815 load a lot faster thou... i noticed on Nero it burns the files to sequentially according to the date of the file and not to the filename, what makes tracks slower to load because the slowass laser canon of my alpine has to move a lot to find the next track..

is there any program that will record to the CD sequentially according to the file name?

ummm, maybe you could organize your files into folder based on band name, and then on song name, and windows will automatically alphbatize the folders and songs, so you just burn the folders straight to disk. I use the cheap sonic program that came with my computer and my pioneer 960 automatically puts them in alphbetic order, but you sound kind of compute illiterate if you can't orgazine stuff in alphabetic order, especially since it take so little knowledge.

The current 147 song mp3 disc in there is as follows for my 9813:

Between songs - 1 second.

Mix Disc - 2-3 seconds.

well i wasnt quite clear on my description of the problem.... the problem is Nero records file according to the last time modified on the disc... well let me explain...

you know the disc starts on the inner corner and goes until the end which is on the outter corner of the cd...

somehow like this shitty *** representation i made

well what happens is that let's say each color represents a file on the disc, so Alpine would change tracks a LOT faster if for example, light blue was A.mp3, blue, was B.mp3, yellow C.mp3 and green was D.mp3...

what happens is that nero records from in to out of the CD according to the date of the file, what makes the alpine laser canon to spin a LOT to focus on the next track, what represents a lot of time here... how can i record it sequentially by the filename?

if you can understand my english you're a genius //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
