yeah it is a bad excuse for loudness, but it kills the stage from your comps and makes the sound a hell lot worse from the comps...

thats what i felt at least

it's good on music you require more agressive bass and treble and less mids like electronic music and rap, but terrible at rock and other genres...

i usually have this off and use MX on 2 when i need more bass

 
i thought they sounded great after using them for weeks, i turned it off last week and realised how much better music sound without them.

it is a gimmick that basicaly compresses, brightens and adds more bass. it workes well with paper speaker (stock) but not verry good for components.

its better to use the built in EQ for components
