Hey guys, does anyone have experience installing these with factory hu's? I can get an adaptor that will plug and play inline with the existing sony amp in my f150. I know its not a traditional 4 channel amp, but im guessing it will be leaps and bounds above the sony. I may down the road ad additional sub under the seat where the factory one is via LC2i. I have replaced my factory door speakers with kickers.

Wondering if it will hall with roll off and lack of bass and distortion
I feel like that would be affected more by sound deadening and speaker installation quality, although it may help somewhat. Factory rolloff really can't be recovered, if the frequency isn't there you can't make it louder.

The thing that would worry me most about KTP-445 is that its power source is the factory head unit power wire. If you have installed aftermarket head units, you know how flimsy this power wire is as well as the ground, so there could be often big voltage drop and the amp probably gives you at most 3dB more head room over the factory head unit.
