Alpine KTP-445 Issues

I bought the Alpine KTP-445 Power Pack to boost the sound coming from my Alpine CDE-9852. When I installed it my stereo made a pulsing sound and I had way less volume coming through my speakers. The max volume with the Power Pack installed was lower than a normal listening volume. I have a 99 FOrd Contour SVT if it matters. My HU is compatible and its plug and play install, anyone know whats up?

Hey,

Did you ever resolve your issues. What was it?

I installed the KTP-445 with an Alpine CDE-102 and I love it. I was skeptical at first, with the size and numbers associated to it but was surprised. I supplemented that with a 10" sub and amp.
