Alpine IVA-D310 & ipod video help

hey, i'm new to this forum, hopefully somebody can help me out with this subject. i have a alpine in dash dvd player and the ipod hook up for it , i was wondering if i can play ipod videos on my screen? has anybody tested it yet? thanks for you help in advance
