Alpine IVA-D105 or CDA-9887? help please!

I want to upgrade to an AV unit and everyhting I have is Alpine, do I get the IVA-D105 and will it sound as good as my CDA-9887? I am using the H701 for all my processing needs and at 4V out I am not owrried about the 2V out on the D105.

The reason why I want the D105 is because I want to run my two rear head rest monitors and if I was going to use the CDa I would have to install the DVA-5205E run it standalone to the rear monitors and then use a 3rd screen in my glove box to see what is playing and start stop DVDS. I would also have to use the DAUX in on the CDA-9887!

Will I loose any of the SQ by moving to the D105? They both have the 24 bit DA etc. And all my DSP needs come from the H701 and I can not use imprint with the H701, so what do you all think?

With the D105 I can run the rear video and my music while the kids use the IR headphones! I can not on the 9887.

Or should I wait for the D310 replacement to come out!

Curious too, TTT it goes! Trying to avoid spending 2x the price on a new flashy in-dash DVD unit if all it's going to do is... well, look flashy
