Alpine ILX-207 users....

anybody running this headunit? im having a frustrating time tuning with it, just curious what volume level people are using.... checked preout distortion levels with DD-1 i get no distortion (0 db tones) max volume on front and rear preouts, however sub preout distorts at volume 24 (less than half volume) i dont go past 20...and overall everything just sounds like complete sh*t, my ears ring and hurt after 5 min. trying to tune(sub stage sounds great though), no matter how much i try to eq it makes no difference... im no pro but consider myself very knowledgeable with installs/equipment....also noticed today while trying to tune that andriod auto sounds horrible compared to bluetooth (google play premium)... im about ready to throw in the towel and admit defeat and go back to completely stock (sounded 10x better)
