alpine ida-x100 current error

my hu will not read my ipod anymore or even a usb drive. when i plug it in, the unit displays "current error". how do i fix this or whats the problem. my ipod works fine when not plugged in and everything else works on the hu, just not the ipod hookup. any ideas?
