Im thinking of purchasing this HU whenever i get monies

is there a reason i shoulnt..

output is only 2 volts..if i purchase a eq that will not boost my volts will it?

if you buy the imprint unit change your volts to 4 but you'll never need it

I've got the previous x200 and like it. It is strictly radio/ipod/flash drive, tho. No cd player on this bish.

i hd the x100 w/ imprint and x001 and both had bad sq.

2v or 4v.. The diffrence is not all that big.. Ur just goint to push the gain a bit more to the right..

Those V's dont mean much,its just for marketing.

It only matter if u have an amp that has front end defeat,so if u turn it crossovers and gain is being bypassed,and u r getting the cleanest signal possible. There u could use about 8V. But that is another story.

i'd just buy the imprint unit (actually i already did) for my x-100. i think it has great sq actually. love that deck, wouldn't trade it for any other headunit.

and to the above, a 4v signal is much better than a 2v signal, actually, because the stronger the signal is, the less interference it's likely to reveive on the way to the amp. if you're in a bigger vehicle (suv or somethin like that) it is even more important.
