mx = BASS more bass to speakers distort a higher levels.

Your speakers. Mine has three levels and according to the manual it's supposed to increase sound based off of media you are lietening to. cdr etc to boost the entire freq range. To me anyways it seems that it makes everything louder. I keep it off though. It only sounds good at medium to low volumes( in my vehicle)
