Alpine Display Problem

Good evening everybody,

I'm driving a 1995 Jeep YJ (wrangler) and I have an Alpine 7517S Cassette Player and 6-CD Shuttle in the backseat which was installed by the previous owner some time back.

Now, the buttons light up but I can't see the display. What could be the problem? Faulty wiring? A blown fuse?

The VFD's work but they're barely visible during the day and at night you can't see them at all.

The problem is the illumination. They simply won't light up.

Can anyone help me out?

I dont know where about the bulb is in that deck. or how hard itd be to change it, but the is it really worth it pops into mind. :/
