Alpine CDA117 for 74.99 at BB

I work near a Best Buy and was looking to kill some time yesterday so I was walking around a bit. I do like Best Buy,just not for car audio. I decided to just "check it out"...they had some Alpine decks stacked on the top shelf and I saw the CDA 117 in there. For the hell of it I decided to see how much it was...it rang up 74.99. Now,Im the market for a new HU and this one was one of my choices,I couldnt pass it up.

To be honest I have heart set on the Kenwood X995,alot of features,great sound and a pretty reasonable price. I like the Alpine except for the blue illumination...Im pretty sure I could put this on CL and make a few bucks on it.

So,if any of you are in BB and see one, maybe you should check it out. The best price on line I could find was 299.00...

I bought it at the one on 79 South...last one. I checked last night at the Temecula one and they didnt have any. Call around to some of the other BB's,you might get lucky.

I don't think the imprint gives you the active option. Everything I have read says the 9887 is the last active unit available. The Imprint gives you better crossover, EQ, Time alignment etc...

Yeah you got a redonkulous deal on that head. Only thing that I don't like about it is that damm "Banking" when you have a good bit of music on a flashdrive... takes a good while for it to fully boot... You'll see what I mean!!!
