Alpine Cda-9884

Hey I have an Alpine CDA-9884 hooked up in my 95 Honda Civic. I was wondering about the stock wires in these cars. I don't have any kind of factory harness left as the deck has been changed several times prior to me.

Wondering if I should upgrade the ground wire and possibly the power wires in the dash. Having some issue with this deck. Just trying to eliminate easy things that I can accomplish myself.

I put this deck in my wife's 05 Maxima and she loves it! Anyway, what kind of ''issues''???

Well I got my deck plugged into an Audioque 1200D and theres no output. Plug my friends rcas from his car into it and it works. Turns out I have to have the gain up all the way to get it to play decently. The deck is 2 volt pre outs from what I've found.

Wondering if any of this could be affected by the ground wires in the dash. I gotta think that pre outs dont go bad in this way but I don't know. It sounds good but the amp is up all the way. With my friends jensen deck i can't even turn it up 1/4 on the amp.
