was wondering how it says optional for a remote if that means it comes with one and u dont have to use it or what if not il just get the 9885..also how is the ipod connection on it? can u search through everything easily? and does it drain battery using the pipod in the car or does it charge at the same time?..thanks

optional remote means it will work with a remote but it is sold seprate
