Alpine CDA 9883-9885-9887

I'm looking at these 3 Alpine decks,CDA 9883-9885-9887. I have 99 Suburban and want some good bass. I'm thinking of 12 Alpine Type R sub with 500 watt alpine amp. Which deck would work best with siruis and ipod control?

Well the 9887 is the latest and greatest model from Alpine, I put that in my BMW and am absolutely thrilled with it. For bass I have it connected to a JL Audio 500/1 amp running to JL 10W6's in a ported box and sounds incredible.

Why JL Audio 500/1 amp and not alpine for the amp?

Just personal preference. I love Alpine for their headunits and JL for their amps and speakers.

2 type r's are gonna need more like 1500 watts ...not 500
