Alpine CDA-9853 question?

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased an alpine cda-9853 from a friend recently and i think its a great unit. However the only issue I have with it is that I cannot find a comfortable setting for my 2 JL audio subwoofers in the trunk. With my previous head unit which was a cheap walmart 50watt unit, it had a bass boost function which made these things pump. However, with this new head unit I am having trouble getting the same result. I have played around with the eq settings and subwoofer settings but I am getting more vibrations then I am low bass like I had with my previous head unit. I know that this head unit is not for the average person so I think i need a little help here lol. Can anyone here help me out with this? or should I pay a visit to my local alpine retailer for some help.
