alpine cda-9827

hey guys,

i am trying to put a alpine cda-9827 in a 2005 buick lacrosse...i do not want to cut any factory car wires (including anything on the stock radio), in case i need to put the radio back in it when i sell it. I need the wire harness that goes from the alpine unit to the car wires for speakers and power and everything. any one know where i can get this. or what i should do?

so the stock head unit have a wire harness coming in to it or does it have a plug that plugs in to the back of the mount that the head unit sits in? I would take a look at partsexpress.com

you will need one of these

GMOS-01

GM non - amplified interface harness. Retains chimes and accessory. Works with or without onstar and provides navigation wires.

GMOS-04

GM amplifier interface harness. Retains chimes and accessory. Works with or without onstar and provides navigation wires.

GMRC-01

GM non - amplified, non - onstar interface harness. Retains chimes and accessory through an on board speaker.

GMRC-02

GM non - amplified, non - onstar interface harness. Retains chimes and accessory through factory door speaker.

XSVI-2003

Non - amplified, non - onstar interface harness that retains accessory power only.

XSVI-2003-NAV

Non - amplified, non - onstar interface harness that retains accessory power and provides navigation output wire.

and the harness that is already with your alpine radio, you will also need a gm antenna adapter.

no, i do not use on star at all. i don't care if it works with this head unit, i just DO NOT want to have to cut any wires with anything that came stock with the car...i want to just add the right harness so that i can swap it out when i sell the car...

by the way, i am going to add a sub and amp to this at some point, i don't know if this changes anything 200sx?

if your car has a factory amp

GMRC-01

if your car odes not have a factory amp.

andding amp and sub does not affect this
