Pick the cheapest and/or best looking one...you can't go wrong with either HU.

I believe with the Sound Tuninig controls, the Alpine is the better choice, Time Correction etc. But both brands are excellent, Alpine has better reliability though.

uh lol what? Eclipse has never had widely known reliability problems

You'd be happy with either unit ... see if you can play with each one and go from there. It'll boil down to some features and aesthetics.
