Alpine CDA-7894 replacement

I have had a Alpine CDA-7894 since they came out several years ago. Never had any problems with it but I am looking to replace it with a newer model, maybe one of the 2008 Alpines.

I would like to get more options for running an active set up and a better on board EQ. USB would be a killer add on too. Maybe someone could chime in on which HU's would be a great upgrade.

I could use some input on which single DIN model would be the best for the money.
