I have an Alpine CDA-7850 HU and I would like to know if anyone knows how to disable the CD-TEXT completely on it. It's really annoying, because I don't want to program all my CD's into it, and when you're trying to find a specific track on a CD, you have to wait a few seconds before the NO CD-TEXT display disappears before you can see the numerical track value on the display. I've read through the manual and it doesn't say anything. Does anyone know how to do this?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I'm hoping to find someone who might be able to repair this head unit. The faceplate doesn't slide out at all.

The cutting it off part is what I'm confused about now. The speakers in my car have two wires coming off of them but I would only have one wire on...
