alpine c701 question

Just wondering if this would work. I have h701 hooked up through my w200, could I run a c701 controller with these units to get the automatic time correction, or will the c701 work with just one of them.

the h701 can work with either of them or both at the same time if you want.

thanks, I figure c701 will save me time and money in the future for the time correction function , the shops I have been to charge hourly to do it , which isnt a bad thing as long as it's done right. I was just worried if the h701 ever lost power, I would lose all my settings.

the h701 will keep settings for a long time even when disconnected. as long as you save them to a preset.

I personally wouldnt' pay any shop to do the Time alignment for me, and I wouldn't trust the auto TA.

Auto TA, if it's anything like the new Imprint, it'll make the center image right in front of you, which is where it shouldn't be. If you do use the Auto TA, after it's done, i'd delay the left speakers ~1ms or so to get the center image in the center of your windshield.
