Who told you that???? First, who are you going to get to do any repair work for you? And second, Alpine (or any manufacturer for that matter) will only honor or pay for the repairs of equipment that is purchased at their authorized retailers. Yes there are some on the net, but not many.... Saving a few bucks by buying on the net isn't always what it's cracked up to be...........You always get what you pay for.

Not necessarily, sometimes you get a lot less than what you pay for because of inflated shop prices paired with shitty service. If you buy from a reputable place like ikesound.com, you are almost guaranteed to get a better deal than in a shop because they have their own warrantee if anything goes wrong.

alright people as i stated erlier i get this stuff wholesale i just wasnt up on the amp thing

and bass engine gives you more controls on your sub.bass,treble and just more options than bbe
