alpine bass engine

i'm in the market for a new hu (since all my stuff got stolen)anyways thinking of gonig with an alpine cda-7894or cda-7897 with the bass engine+ & pro, alpine says thier amps are bass engine ready, question is will these work better with an alpine amp or will they work the same no matter what amp i put on it?right now im looking at getting a ma audio m1686i 6ch amp it has the power im looking for at the right price.

Bass engine is really cool. Saying their amps are "bass engine ready" is kind of gimmicky. It will sound great with another amp.

Check out the crutchfield website. http://www.crutchfield.com They carry Alpine products and they have good prices. Also look in the scratch and dent section or the outlet store section. I just bought a Pioneer XM reciever and saved 10 dollars. Not much, but it'll buy a few beers at the local bar.

um crutchfield has some of the highest prices around (retail)

all my prices are about 100 cheaper than crutchfield give or take i get their cat.

i can get most of the stuff about internet prices with out shipping costs

and i dont have to wiat and wait for delivery

i have an mrd-m300 and i cant seem to figure out how to adjust the gain on the amp. anyone have a clue in what option i can do this??

The problem with Ebay is that not many things that are sold there come with warrantees. Check out Ikesound.com for a good Alpine selection (except amps).

i got the alpine7875 deck

is it BBE?

or is it internal that i cant turn off or on? no option on the deck to select it cause i havnt se anythign say bass engine

As long as they're brand new units then they come with the original manufacturers warranty.
