alpine and ipod question

so i got my kca-420i. i have an xm tuner wich has a pass through for the ipod. when i hook up the ipod, it comes on the headunit as changer, but i cannot figure out how to switch to a different album or artist?

Push 1 then the search button to search for playlists . . . 2 search to search artists . . . 3 search to search for albums. This is in the owners manual =) And yes, it will read it as a CD Changer because the ipod interface technology was introducted after the 9835.

i got the kca-420i off ebay with no manual and i couldn't find anything in the 9835 manual so i'll try that

figured it out. it's kinda pain scrolling through all the music so i guess i should setup some sort of play list

when you got a lot it's just time consuming when you are trying to drive. plus i haven't figured out that when i have an artist but more then one album from that artist, how do i get to the 2nd or third album?

When you select the artist it should then come up with the list of albums from that artist.

up top since i hooked it up with my sirius D300 screen .... and its a pain in the ***.....

i rather go back too my cd changer with mp3 ...

i have it wired where my Ainet goes too the SIrius box then too the IPod interface....
