Alpine amp issue

Good day, I seem to be having some weird issues with an Alpine MRD-M605, which was bought on eBay from a well respected seller who claimed it worked great. It is a new install with Streetwires 4awg spanning 13 feet from a redtop optima. It is grounded to the sheet metal (all paint and primer scraped and steel wooled).

When my head turns on the amp turns on then turns off then turns on and will keep doing this forever. I have checked my remote wire and tried replacing it with an 8awg going directly to a 12v source so I am confident it is not my remote.

Any ideas?

Try to put it to other car or try other HU. Also what show sceen on amp top?

The screen just keeps turning on and off. I tried with a diff head same install, same results. My head is a pioneer deh-7800mp
