Alpine AI-Net question

So i have the cda-9855 HU with the kca 420i Ipod interface that plugs into the ai-net jack. but i also have an MRD-m1000 amp that i can plug into the AI-Net to be able to control amp functions and monitor status and what not.

my question is, is there a way to have both of them hooked up to the same ai-net? is there some sort of adapter i can buy which will enable me to do so. or am i just screwed and have to pick one or the other?

i pretty sure the amp link terminal does not use the ai-net and a separate jack for that
