Alpine 9887 vs JVC kd Nx5000

Jvc clearly has more features ,but how is the sound quality in comparison to the Alpine is there a noticable difference to the ear?

compare them side by side on crutchfield.com. I have the 9887 and there is no comparison to a JVC. Just my 2 pennies though.
