Alpine 9856 vs. Eclipse CD3000 help I cannot decide!

Hi All,

So I am interested in both these HU's and have been reading the impressions of each on the forum, but still cannot decide. I am mainly worried about SQ, not so much iPOD connection etc, and I need 3 pre-amp outputs. Either one I am just going to use the auxillary input to connect my Sirius SAT radio. Give me your thoughts and opinions, and potentially another HU to consider if there is a better one in this price range.

I believe the only difference between the cd3000 and cd4000 is the 4000 has color changing buttons, a remote, and the ability for an additional aux input. So SQ on the 3000 should be pretty good. Ive played with the newer alpines a little, and im not a huge fan. I owned alpines ever since i got into car audio, until recently when i switched to eclipse. I just dont think the quality is in the newer alpines as there was in the older ones. my vote goes to eclipse
