i'm looking for a hu that can play all the music formats and connect to an ipod, is there anything better out there?

I'm looking to pair the hu to a modded behringer dcx 2496, so no eq is needed on the hu.

Its a decent headunit. Has the bare minimum features any other headunit on the market would have now-a-days. It is also the cheapest Alpine headunit with 3 RCA outputs if that was a concern for you.

iceteebone bought this and he said the only thing decent about it is the full speed ipod controls, but he has processor to so it works for him i guess.

that's perfect, exactly what i'm looking for. in reality the only thing i needed was just a good loc but since my stock hu has no auxilery input and can't play mp3 or wma's so i was looking into this unit.

if you got external processing the deck is great imo. ipod interface is tits, and the deck is fairly user friendly.
