Alpine 9855 help.

I noticed on my 9855 that there is a aux. input and a d.aux input. I am using the aux input but was wondering what the d. Aux could be used for? I looked for cables compatible to it but couldn't find any. Does anyone know what it can be used for. A cable to charge and play my ipod would be nice. I have a 3.5mm already im using in the ai-net location.

It's for a specific situation involving an external processor that has optical digital input with an Alpine DVD player that doesn't use Ai-Net. Turning D.Aux on lets you have 5.1 surround sound with the DVD player in use.
