Quality control issues on the 880????? Where did that come from??Depends on what you're comfortable with...
The 880 has some neat features that the '35 doesn't have, like AutoEQ/TA.
But the 9835 never had the quality control issues that plagued the 880.
Pioneer, I guess? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifWhere did that come from??
How recent did he buy a 9835 at bestbuy?A properly tuned 880 > all (in its price range).
A guy at work bought the 9835 from Best Buy. After hearing my 880 he asked, "Why don't they sell sell these at BB?" I just laughed and said I dunno.
His sounded decent on Type-R coax's all around on a 50x4 amp. I really can't give you a head to head.
So all those people with noisy 880PRS's must have been making it up...The 2006+ Pioneer units dont have this problem. Just make sure everything is properly grounded.
