Alpine 9833 problem

i bought a 9833 from Crutchfield back in April 05 and the lower numbers (where it tells you time left and track number) are fading. It only shows have the number.

has anyone else dealt with this problem? and will crutchfield require that i return the entire unit or just the face?

i think there was a known issue with the FIRST batch of the new touch glide HU. Call CF to see if you can get a replacement

9833 doesnt have a glidetouch.

Its the best HU in existence you know, absolutely nothing better in that price range, nope.

Since you purchased it this year just call Alpine and RMA it. You should have a year warranty on it.
