I know the 7995 is 4v preout, but I read on another forum that the sub is a 2v preout ? Only the front and rear are 4v....

Is this true ?

What deck has 4v or higher sub preout ?

I ask cuz Im thinking of buying a 7995 and selling my 9873 cd player.

turn the subwoofer control on the deck all the way up then reset the gain.
The subwoofer control on my Alpine 9873 is all the way up to 15 and the gain on my amp is all the way up.. heck I even have the Loudness button on !

Are you getting any noise on a 0-bit track?

There's nothing intrinsically wrong with having the input gain up, it really doesn't matter where it is, as long as the output is unclipped...

that setup isn't going to produce much.. idk what you might be expecting.. also decks that have higher sub preouts are eclipse!! 5v-8v most of the time
I know its not gonna produce much, but I got the amp, sub for free. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I just wanted to know if a 4v sub preout would make any difference in output for my sub.
