Will my steering wheel buttons work with an aftermarket HU?

i wanna know if the volume, seek, mute buttons on my steering wheel will still work with my new HU

yes you have to get something like an swi-jack

they make several types of steering wheel interfaces....or you can build your own from an old remote if your pretty creative

they CAN, but u have to get a seperate unit for them to, for my grand prix it was gunna cost 80-85 and if u want it installed, a few hundred.

dont let the shop fool you the installation shouldnt be that bad ive installed hundreds of those the hardest one i did was a bmw and it took me 40 minutes with programming

im not letting any shop do anything on my car... too expensive.. but what is a swi-jack and where can i get one

crutchfield has it for 75 but im pretty sure you can find it cheaper online or i can get you one if interested

it will come with instructions...a lot of newer decks have a jack on back you can plug into
