alpine 7875 issue

my parents just picked up a truck with a 7875 in it. there is no sound coming from the deck. my dad said on the way home he hit a hole and the sound came on and back off. i pulled the deck out to check things and really didnt see anything out of place. the antenna wire was frayed and i taped it back up. the person before has lights sharing the power and ground from the deck. there is also an alpine eq wired up. the deck is getting power and not cutting in and out there, only the sound is gone. we have it pulled out right now so any quick help is appreciated. ive hooked up many decks and never had anything like this.... thanks

well i took the deck out and hooked it up in my car and it works perfect, so now we get to check all the wires to find the problem...the wiring in the truck has been hacked, so it should be fun.

alright we are messin with this again today.. im still gettin no sound.. i know the unit is good i threw it in my car and it worked perfect last week.. i even took a speaker i had in the garage and hooked it straight up and got no sound from it... any ideas..

well after workin with it, it came on for about 30 secs and then the sound was gone again..weve worked with it for like 2 hours and i know everything is hooked up right.. i have no idea what the problem is....
