Alpine 7863.......NO SOUND!

Everything works it just doesn't have any sound!

well if you want to be technical..........

It powers on, lights up, opens up, accepts and ejects cds.

BUT there is no sound coming out of the speakers.......

did you use a wireing harness?

i bet its a factory amp......

yeah......theres a wiring harness that was already hooked up.

I just cut those and hooked up my deck.

does it have a internal fuse ?

I checked all of the fuses and they're all good.

The vehicle may have a factory amplifier. Make sure your head unit's blue/white wire is connected to the blue/white on the Ford harness.

Yeah the remote turn on is hooked up.

Can I just run the speakers straight off the head unit?

it´s a 78xx alpine line and, therefore, has amplified outputs... so, that answers your question
