Alpine 12" Type DVC Waht do YOU think.

i hear these babys pump and pump soem more. They look smoothe, and I hear they has great SQ and SPL.

Its a toss up between these, and the Infinity Perfect 12.1d's.

I love infinity, but I hear there subs dont really pound, but have terrific SQ.

And opinions from some pros that have haerd them, or

have them would be great.

Oh Ya, I was gonna run a Profile Clarus amp 300x2 on them. What do you think of that.

Is this your first sstem? with the right power, that type R will hit plenty hard, my first system had 2 of them, and i was blown away by the awesome sound wuality, and how loud they got...

Im getting the Alpine Type R 12" DVC 2 Ohm Subs!

Ya Im talking about the highest series. Type R I guess is better.

I am going to go with 2 of them, at 2 ohms, and 300RMS a piece.

And Im going to buy them as cheap as I can get them brand new. On ebay.

If you buy them on ebay, don't hurt em. You most likely won't have a warranty.

No, I dont wanna spend more then 300-350 if I have to, for the amp.

Ya It is a loss, but not as expensive as JL's.

An suggestons for amps? Aroudn that price?

Alright, Im gonna pick up this

JBL BP300.1

Its rated at 300x1 at 2ohms i can pick some up off ebay for 125 a piece, Ill need 2 of them, so $250 total which is about the same as the Profile Clarus amp. $25 shipping total, not bad deal at all!!!

I think Ill go with those!!!

And the Alpine Type R's

Hey man, don't buy that stuff yet! Check out my sig, then go to ikesound.com and notice that you can get it all for $443, probably less than what you were going to spend. And everything comes with a warranty. Run the JBL at 1 ohm because ikesound only has the 4 ohm dvc type r's. (My 600.1 doesn't even get warm, and I live in Phoenix.) So, if that is the setup you are intent on getting, go with the 600.1 and check out ikesound.com

Pair of type-r's are radical! I heard good things about them and bad things about them, heard alot of people burnt their voice coils. I dunno how though! But anyways i had one dude with a 12" type-r, in a small sealed box, pushing it with a Alpine v12 750watt amp, i could hear him down the street. Also he told me his other friend has 2 12" type-rs, pushing them with a Jensen 500watt amp, i dunno what was the box. Cops pulled them over couple of times to turn his system down. I gotta see that to believe! But

go for the type-rs, put them in a good box, they will sound awsome.. But i recommend getting a bigger amp for them. Just my opinion, but either way would be good!

Guys I meant the 600.1

I thought hte Type R's were 2 ohms, but they are 4, so I meant the 600.1
