Up for sale is a used but in mint condition alphasonik pma2150 amp. It puts out 150x2 at 4 ohm 260x2 at 2 ohms and i 490 at 4 ohm bridged. Great amp for front stage or a small 12. It has 480 hours of use on it so a few months reallly. Mint condition will throw in some wiring and a set of rca's to boot. Looking for $100 shipped. Btw it is a class a/b amp that is rated at 12.5 volts.

Well if you are sticking around you would only have to pickup the drivers for the xover from http://www.partsexpress.com -- so for an amp and a bit over $150 you would end up with some speakers about as good as rainbow platinum component sets... Compared a set to the Boston Acoustics Z6 and the RS is the clear winner. They are very similar in terms of timbre though... As natural as an organic flat pancake! The RS just blows the Boston away in terms of detail... and lower midrange resolution.... and high frequency resolution too... and sounds much better off axis…

The 5" could go with ethr of those above tweeters as well but I'd have to work on that one...

I also have a design using the RS tweeter and a pair of 7" RS drivers per side but that is VERY hard to install properly...

You would be getting the xover for any of those in exchange for the amp... you would still have to buy the drivers -- but they are very nice for the money... Here is some tech data of the RS180 vs the seas L18 (the base driver used in the Rainbow Platinum components which are $2000/set)
