I'm not going to stand on one side of the fence or the other, but I have to say that your ignorance is what fuels the conspiracy debate.
The government had a lot to gain by demolishing the trade towers and pentagon. Throughout history governments have killed their citizens in order to gain power, and the conspiracy theories state that's the case here, and well, there's more in this case.

Let's look at it. Immediately following the attack we passed the patriot act, which took away many civil liberties that americans never would have let slide prior to the attack...it gave the government a substantial amount more control over our lives. They also were able to scare the american people into a false war with someone not associated with the "attacks" in any way shape or form. Now, how do we stand to benefit from that war? More control over foreign oil which we were conveniently losing control of because of vastly increasing Chinese economy.

I won't go on because I'm tired and I've got more important things to worry about...but whether or not the government did it, there WAS a lot to gain from it, and the government HAS gained a lot from the attacks. Does that mean they did it, no, but there is evidence to point towards it and a fear of being locked up which scares people away from presenting it in a logical manor. There is also evidence against it, but we've all had that beaten into our heads so...take your side.

I just dont see why the goverment would lie... power? weither they do 4 or 100 explosions thye could still do w.e they want ... we the people are powerless.

But makin the USA crumble by killing a crap load of people.... to do that? I dont think thats a good idea.

Well if you beleave the people were powerless they wouldnt lie to us. Why do people lie? to get what they want. Whether all the theorys are true we will never know. Just RIP eveyrone who died in this disaster it was horrible.

And the president... the SMART president that we have today... George W Bush... thought ALL of that up him self?! Wow I give him more respect now, cause I thought he was dumb as ****.

Bush didnt plan it but he knows a whole lot more than hes leading on. Bush may not be the best speaker but hes no a dumbass. I think hes alot smarter than hes leading people to beleave.

i wouldnt necessarily call this fighting. i would call it the internet if i had to choose a name for it. i find it lame to rag on the country that you live in and the people who run it. if you dont like it, get out, and if you are so smart then do something, speak up, get your ideas out there and make something positive happen. but talking shit on the gov like you are someone of importance over the internet is for lame *****.

Well, the government needs to be controlled. The people of a country are supposed to make up the government. However if the people ****, the government goes to hell... So you either control the people with the government or the government with the people.

I feel your statment is right, (it is the internet, lol) and at this point ragging on the governemnt is pretty lame ***...

Some people think it was done to justify going to war with Iraq. That it was the Bush admin.'s doing. But it really happened. I went down there and saw the whole where the buildings used to sit. Its funny how the buildings fell straight down like an implosion? Not to many of the surrounding building got damaged. Considering its Manhattan. I work at a hospital. We cleaned and made beds Cleaned rooms etc. Got everything ready to do what we could to help and NO ONE ever came. A very sad day!!!!

why spend time investigating it when we will never know the truth. we know bits and pieces, but we wont know the whole truth for quite some time or ever maybe. the investigations that are taking place lead to nothing but theories.
