I still know that square isnt exactly the ideal for sound quality. It is a fact that non-circular woofers cause edge-diffractions and thus a biased response in certain areas. Odds are you can't hear this, but the fact that it has them already detracted from it SQ value.USAC does judging of output as well as accuracy and installation. The win can be wieghted by the output and install points although a poor showing in accuracy points could have been invovled but of course that is not mentioned. Im not in any way bashing kicker, as I have l7s of my own. I just wanted to point that out. I love my l7s, and they get extreemly loud, but I wouldnt compete in an sq comp with them. well I'm speaking years (since 2000) they were used in many classes from beginner to Expert in both USACi and IASCA. A woofer can't have any more 'edge-diffractions' than interior panels or interior parts,edges,etc. If these cannot be heard, then I ponder why the assumptions even made if they are accurate.In USACi, last year Cory won by all determining factors. Most points if I'm not mistaken are still weighed on 'sound, staging and accuracy, and clarity'. Only Cory's final scoresheet can determine that, or Mark Eldridges, Gary Biggs, Rob Rices, etc for that matter.

This I do know, but the kickers take a bit more attention them some others that ive worked with. Kickers are some of the best for spl purposes that I have worked with though. I would just like to see them come out with a round sql driver. Time will tell though.

say does your crx have the space built in the hatch area to where the spare tire has its own compartment. Some guy i talked to said he had some type of honda that they used the spare tire area to install his sub, supposibly it slammed. I never heard it but could be an idea
