eD 16Ov2 Peak SPL Question

I was wondering what this is meant by eD

16Ov.2 Reccommended 1.6cF Sealed Enclosure FR Information

Frequency Response : 10 - 100Hz @ less than .5dB Variation

Average SPL in 1.6cF Sealed Enclosure : 130.23 dB

Peak SPL Out in 1.6cF Sealed Enclosure : 143.5 dB @ 55Hz

This was takening from the "sealed" section from eD's web site:

I'm just wondering if it means that the most SPL you're gonna get from a Sealed 16Ov2 with 1.6 cubes and 700 watts is only 143.5dB's...

It seems that way but I was wondering if theres something i'm not reading right or not assuming right...thanks

you may or may not achieve that SPL level, totally install / car dependant.

Definitely...

and they are probably using more than 700 watts. They never say how much power they use in any tests... just "at x-max."
