It sounds like you have a partial short, too much load or bad ground. Disconnect your speakers and check the wires for shorts to the body with an ohm meter. Reconnect your speakers and verify that you're not loading the amp down more than about 3.1 ohms... Anything lower than that and you have a short on a 4 ohm system.

With impedance rise this would be nothing to worry about unless the amp you're using can only handle 4 ohms per/ch. The PG zx450 will do a Revc of 1.5 ohms PER CH and have no issues.

But yes, check your ohm loads on all the chs. Some might be to low or a short somewhere. Also check ALL power and ground points.
