alarm question

does a 99 mustang come with an alarm that is disarmed? i think i read something about that but not sure if its true..

if it doesnt is there a way i can make an alarm with a relay wired to my regular car horn to go off when the door opens?

If your Mustang came with a stock alarm, then yes it can be disarmed at the GEM location.

All aftermarket alarms can make your horn honk if the doors open. Only problem is that, without adding a flasher, the output is a constant 12 volt, which will honk the horn as if somebody held their hand on it. Only some alarms will allow a pulse 12 volt, which is preferable for using the horn as a siren.
