Alarm Pro Needed

Do any of you currently work as an alarm installer? I am looking to install a couple Cliffor alarms with remote start. They are going in a 2004 Ranger and a 2007 Mustang. What is the best factory mobilizer bypass module to use? I hear the DB3 is the best, but does it need to be preprogrammed? I don't want to use the old DEI 555U modules because I don't want to give up a key. I can't believe I still remember what that part number is. Goe's to show how many of them I have installed in the past.

  1. Not right now
Must be nice to live where you live. I live in a really nice neighborhood, and one night, my daughter forgot to arm the alarm. Well, it was an extremely cold night, but someone was still walking around and stole a backpack out of the backseat of my truck. Worst part is, it belonged my daughter's friend who forgot it. Now it is a nightly ritual to check to make sure all the cars are armed and locked before we go to bed.

I went to 12volt.com to ask questions, but it keeps telling me I can't post any questions because I'm not a member. I signed up, but it will say I'm not a member.

Might take a few days for an admin to verify the account, I know some forums do similar things to help stop spam posts and such. This has happened to me once or twice on different forums, which took forever to allow me to post.

I've been a member at the12volt.com but only posted once or twice like 15 years ago. I just found my password and was able to log in though. If they haven't yet, or don't approve you in a few days, I can try to ask on the board about you not being able to post.

You might try contacting them via this as well. Pretty old sticky post there, but the email address still may work as intended. Probably the fastest way of doing it if it still works.

I just gave it another try. I can log in and when I go to post a click on the link to ask a question, it says "Sorry, this function is disabled as your Forum Membership is inactive!" Then I went to check out my profile and it reads "

Sorry, only members with sufficient permission can access this page."

Very frustrating.

Your link helped. I sent them an email and they go it up and running. It's just not a very active site.
