Alarm Gurus... Look!

Alright I am trying to get my Compustar to work in my 09 Challenger. I have everything working but the remote start. I am using an XpressKit Chall interface, which made pretty much everything cake until now. I still need to hook up 2 starter wires, accessory and ignition.

The CHALL interface offers a (+) start wire, but because the alarm has a starter kill I need to split it on both sides, which I can't do with this. It also offers a (-) while running which is no good for the acc. And a (+ ignition). I have tried hooking up what I can, but no luck.

If someone can help me it would be greatly appreciated... maybe one of you guys got a inside line to DEI to help me =).

You probably won't be able to use that interface for your starter kill setup. That has to go directly into the car's starter wire so the alarm can control that connection. I don't know a lot about that interface since when I installed my alarm, I didn't use one, I just cut into the factory wiring.

I was figuring that. I looked online for wiring diagrams, only found one and the wires it said for what I needed were not for remote start use. Have you done it on this car?

Nope, sorry. I just checked the12volt and they don't have your wiring diagram but they have others for other Dodge vehicles (the main ignition wires are usually common colors).

It looks like the ignition wire is usually Pink, and the Starter is usually yellow, but the best thing to do is check them with a DMM.

Im really interested in installing an alarm and remote start on my Ram. What do these interfaces do and? does it make the installation easier? Please explain!!
