alarm effecting radio

i was sitting in my truck the parking structure at school the other day listneing to my radio and this other cars alarm starts to go off. i go to turn my radio up and accidentaly change the station to on thats all static and every time the other cars horn goes off the static went from mid frequencies to high and then back to low
