You don't always have to double the power to gain 3 dB. I could prove this to you in my truck but it's snowing out and I don't feel like freezing my butt off to prove a point.

Efficiency, cabin resonance, air pressure within the cab, air pressure within the box, and other things all play a factor.

If there were such a thing....maybe.

Different vehicles react differently to changing variables. Some things aren't about amp or sub efficiency at all, they are modifications to the interior that increase cabin efficiency.

Maybe you're just understanding me wrong then, as I wasn't implying that his box or sub alone had that efficiency, I'm referring to the efficiency of the system as a whole.

btw dante needed 5 times what he theoretically should have to get an 82 according to his 1 watt doing 141, only 50% more than what he theoretically should have at the 80, clearly a shit ton of compression as he reached the system's limits

a watt is a watt is a watt. Lots of reliable power will get anyone loud if they can install. Stetsom amps certainly aren't magic. (I don't care what Kmanian says)
